Advertising disclosure

We believe you should know exactly how this guide makes money — and where the firewall between advertising and editorial rankings sits.

Miami Breast Surgery is free to read. To keep it running, surgeons and practices can pay for clearly labeled advertising options. Here’s the full picture.

What payment can do

  • Basic editorial profiles are free — inclusion is never purchased.
  • Businesses may pay for an enhanced profile (more detail, photos, contact features).
  • Businesses may pay for a clearly labeled sponsored placement or “featured” box.
  • Businesses may pay for consultation requests, calls, or leads generated through the site.

What payment cannot do

  • Payment does not buy a higher editorial rank or score.
  • Sponsored items are always labeled “Sponsored” near the listing and in our data.
  • We never present a paid placement as an organic editorial recommendation.
  • If paid placement ever changes the order of a list, we say so clearly next to that list.

The editorial firewall

Our rankings come only from the public, reproducible scoring model on our methodology page — board certification, breast-surgery specialization, transparency, reputation, safety signals, consultation quality, and local accessibility. Sponsorship is recorded as a separate flag in our data and is excluded from that score. A sponsored surgeon and an editorial-only surgeon are scored identically.

If we’re ever affiliated

If the site owner ever has a financial relationship with a ranked surgeon beyond standard advertising, we will disclose that relationship on the relevant page and in our methodology.

Verify for yourself

Advertising helps us operate, but it can’t make a surgeon right for you. Always verify credentials and an accredited facility directly, and consult a qualified physician before deciding.
